[Aldor-l] libaldor.a incompatible?

Aldor Users,

I have just installed aldor on my Fedora Core 3 x86-64 linux
system. When I try to run the example from README, I get the
error message:

/usr/bin/ld: skipping
incompatible /usr/local/aldor/linux/1.0.2/lib/libaldor.a when
searching for -laldor
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -laldor
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Does anyone have a suggestion how to correct this problem?
