I would not call it `bad' design in its history context.
As I said, it is not a methodology I would follow in my own codes, but
I can see reasons why it is done that way. And to call it `bad', one
would have to judge it based on the context of design -- not just on
the fashion du jour.
Anyway, I don't think I have significant change to make to the
Aldor compiler source code that is being prevented by that design, so
I would not risk dictating how things should be done; therefore I
would let people who are deeply inconvenienced in their contributions
to assail poor Laurentiu.
