Any ideas why in trunk/aldor/Makefile there appears something like

clean::
	$(SHELL) tools/unix/maclean $(MACHINE)

and maclean explicitly sets ALDORROOT?

ALDORROOT="../../base/${MACHINE}"

I am in favour of removing tools/unix/maclean.

Any comments?
